The Cast Mission
Founded in 2005, CAST
is a non-profit foundation that provides a better understanding of the nature of the terrorist threat, and
effective responses to these challenges using experts who do analyses for the policy and operational communities. CAST support conferences, and educational programs as well as an ongoing program of relevant
publications on terrorism and counter-terrorism.
CAST Staff and Affiliates
CAST's cores staff includes resarch scholars, former Government personnel and other experts in the counter-terrorism
field. CAST projects are often conducted in cooperation with other research organizations that enable research
with a wide range of views and expertise.
CAST Organization and Management
CAST is managed by a Board of Directors that share the organization's concerns and are committed to the objective of
providing evidence based research and unbiased information in the areas of counter-terrorism and national security.
CAST counts among its Directors and fellows leading national authorities in the national security area committed to focusing
the Foundation's resources into the most promisiing research initiatives.
CAST is incorporated as a non-profit corporation and has been granted tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the
Internal Revenue Code.
